The beef from Lossing Farms is consistently pure and high-quality. 100% grass fed, non-GMO, glyphosate residue free, and free of antibiotics and hormones, this exceptional beef is not only healthy, but also delicious. Brian Lossing gets his beef from a group of small family farms in Michigan, all dedicated to raising their cattle humanely and sustainably. He has known the farmers he works with for twenty years, and he knows the high level of care of these farmers give to both their animals and their land.
The group of Michigan farms that make up Lossing Beef includes: Demeray Farms in Yale, and Ray Moses in Plymouth. The cattle on these small family farms are raised in natural and healthy conditions, in open green pastures, with most of them rotationally grazed. Their calves are all born on the farms, and raised with their mothers until weaning. In the winter, the animals are supplemented with non-GMO hay, most of which is home-grown. Optimal conditions such as these produce beef that is superior in flavor and texture.
The breeds that make up Lossing Beef include: Hereford, Angus, Limousin, Piedmontese, Short Horns, or crosses of these beef breeds. Lossing 100% grass fed beef is available in a variety of cuts, or as whole, half, quarters, and eighths.
