How much beef is included in a half-steer?

Around 200 - 225 lbs. Each cut is individually packaged to make storage and use easier. Each half steer includes (weights are estimates only):

  • 4, 1 lb. Eye of Round Steaks
  • 6, 2-3 lb. Round Roasts
  • 1, 2-3 lb. Rump Roast
  • 1, 4-5 lb. Top Sirloin Roast
  • 8, 12 oz Sirloin Steaks

  • 10, 1 lb. Boneless Ribeye Steaks
  • 2, 2-3 lb. Briskets
  • 2, 12 oz. Flat Iron Steaks

How long will my beef last?

All half-steers will be delivered frozen. Unless you plan on eating it all right away, you will need to utilize a good amount of freezer space. Beef will stay good and maintain its quality for 1 year. When you are ready to enjoy it, simply take it out, let it thaw and you're ready to go!
